PLEASE NOTE: Braising and solder do NOT blue. This is normally covered with paint from the manufacturer. Bluing will remove this. It is not advisable to re-apply paint right away, as firstly, the gun will have oil over the fresh bluing. You cannot paint over oil. Secondly, if the oil were removed in order to apply the paint, the bluing will immediately flash rust, causing the entire job to have to be repeated.
A month or so after receiving your project back, this product will do the job for you. This will not work with braise, but will with solder:
Blue Only: Want to do your own polishing? Although we cannot guarantee a "Blue Only" project since we would not be doing the prep work, we will blue your project for $125.00. If we feel we could possibly do better, we will contact you first and give you the option.

Other Services:
Expedited Bluing (One month turnaround): $300.00 - can only be achieved if no disassembly/reassembly is required and/or project does not need to go to our gunsmith. Should you need disassembly/reassembly, there will be a six week turnaround.
Disassembly/Reassembly: Starting at $125.00 unless it is a gun for which we do not offer that service; it is then at the discretion of our gunsmith. Call us to see what we do and don't do~
Tax: If you are a resident of North Carolina, I'm afraid we'll need sales tax in addition to the figures, including the shipping.
Drop Offs:We'd love to meet you in person, so if you can drop your project off, that's fine too! Just please bring your filled-out packing form with you.

Our turnaround time is about ten months currently. ***DUE TO THE VIRUS, POLITICS, MOTHER NATURE'S WRATH, ETC. WE ARE VERY BUSY, however, we ARE still taking work.*** See our FAQ page for Next in Line ordering. Lastly, our pricing is the same for both dealers and non-dealers.
We accept all major credit cards, Paypal to Mark@PrecisionBluing.com, each of which incur a 1.5% fee; checks and money orders, Venmo, Cash app, Zelle and FB Pay, none of which incur fees. If you prefer to pay with an app such as Venmo or Cash that do not provide receipts, we will send you a screenshot.
The reason that we don't take payment via the site is two-fold. One: Until your project is complete, we've not earned your money. Two: Sometimes the finish you want isn't the finish you need, ie, if your gun is terribly pitted, you wouldn't want that high polish that you paid for.
Again, note the above payment forms will incur an additional 1.5% service fee.
